Pursuit of Peace

Peace and Happiness. Know the difference. People have forgotten peace and desperately pursue happiness instead. Most people have either prioritized happiness over peace or can't even tell the difference. But there is a huge difference. Always go for peace.

Peace is sustainable. Happiness is fleeting. You can be at peace by working for yourself and for others; maintain that state for a long period of time. Happiness is relatively temporary and since it can be achieved through trivial means, its effect wears down quickly.

Peace makes you sensitive to your surrounding. In peace, even silence speaks to you. You feel every moment and enjoy the minutest of seconds. Happiness blurs your vision to the surroundings. You don't care much about the happenings around you and before you know; time flies and its over.

A peaceful mind and heart is the source of true joy. So while happiness is good at times; always try for peace, happiness will follow.

Of one thing I am certain, the body is not the measure of healing - peace is the measure.

  1. Complete satisfaction is something which can't be attained, not even imagined on the earth. Because complete satisfaction is what Paradise is all about (too bad athiests that they can't even believe they'll attain it someday unlike others). It is the belief which makes one peaceful and helps to continue the struggle towards peace and satisfaction. So only one word to add and that is
